In this role, you’ll support the marketing manager, contributing to daily activities aligned with the company’s long-term marketing strategy. The ideal candidate should be passionate about marketing and technology, possess multitasking abilities, and have a keen eye for detail.
Key responsibilities include maintaining the company website, managing all social media platforms, and overseeing creative content. Requirements include at least four years of experience in a similar role and a relevant tertiary qualification. Strong layout and typographic skills, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure are essential.
Digital
- Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques.
- Plan and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies, covering SEO, marketing database, email, social media, Google Ads, WhatsApp, and potential new channels.
- Design and oversee the entire digital marketing strategy, social media, email marketing, the company website, and marketing databases.
- Develop, build, and maintain a strong social media presence to generate qualified leads.
- Maintain a consistent look and feel to effectively communicate the company’s brand and image across all digital platforms.
Website / Online B2B
- Have a good understanding of WooCommerce and the backend functionality of a word press website.
- A basic understanding on integration between WooCommerce and ERP system.
- Able to work with 3rd party services providers to troubleshoot issues.
- Experience working with sales team with regards to order integrations and commitments.
- Able to manage multiple systems and streamline problems on the B2B website
- Understanding of Component-based design.
- Collaborating with developers and ERP support team to implement design changes and new features as and when required.
- Set up and optimize Google AdWords campaigns.
Social Media
- To plan, schedule & post branded content across owned social media channels based on marketing & promotional calendar.
- Boost Posts – identifying the correct audience.
- Create and curate compelling content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Engage with the online community and respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
Email Marketing
- Manage and maintain the customer database particular focus on email marketing and growing the customer database.
- Improve email visibility and conversions, including keyword research and optimisation.
Reporting
- Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs) and compile a monthly report.
General Marketing Activities
- Assist with the planning and execution of promotional events and trade shows.
- Keep abreast of and implement the latest digital solutions for corporate and product marketing and communication.
- Ensure content is brand aligned and aligned to customer journey.
- Compiling and editing content for digital platforms, balancing both product and corporate content in line with the Marketing and Communication strategy.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital or a related field.
- Proven experience as a digital marketing specialist or similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Experience
- Four years’ experience in the field as a Digital marketing Specialist & content development.
Knowledge and Skills
- Digital Marketing -full understanding.
- Proofreading, editing, and efficient grammar abilities are essential.
- MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook (Intermediate skills are essential).
- Comprehensive understanding of paid ads and Google Ad words, SEO and data analytics.
- Social media such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok and Website management.
- Able to give feedback and generate reports on campaigns underwent.
- Understanding of social media and which platforms will give the group the best value.
- Fully equipped to propel the group forward through digital marketing and campaign management.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
- Knowledge of graphic design and video editing is a plus.
- Must have valid Driver’s License with Own Transport.
